     NGONI on the 411

Ngoni are currently in the studio putting final touches to their 3rd studio album. This album is a blend of different genres of music and it incorporates a wider range of musical styles garnered to broaden their fan base. The first two releases off the album ie �Nina Omwami� feat Desire Luzinda and lately �Inzikuru� are the only songs that are reminiscent of the definitive Ngoni sound you have all come to love over the years.

In Pato�s words, this album is created to incorporate different ranges of instruments, languages and production style. The album is also geared towards a broader market and thus includes other languages like Kinyarwanda, Swahili, and predominantly English.

�This is a time we feel like we are getting bored with our sound, we have achieved beyond our wildest dream the identity we intended when we first came out, now its time to fuse more creativity and take it to a different level� says AyDee.

The album also includes more collaborations from Professor J, Tsunami Ndogo and Hafsa (Tanzania) and also Chilli Galz from Uganda, who are also working under the mentorship of Universal Entertainment along Goodenuff.
