Ladies and Gentlemen, yes questions are starting to pop up about the absence of the sweet, silky voiced Lillian on the new single 'ILL BE THERE' by TONIKS. Furthermore, is Allan now a solo artiste?
Weeeelllll...Essentially yes, TONIKS for now and in the foreseeable future will be the stage name for the founding member, ALLAN AMPAIRE. This is a decision that was reached at initially by both Lillian and Allan. Much as Lillian is still technically a member of TONIKS, she will not be an active stage artiste for the group due to family pressure and commitments..(she is in law school..)
After a few consultations as to whether we should replace Lillian with another female to maintain the image of TONIKS, we as GOODENUFF together with Allan and close buddy/ advisor Nobert, decided that to avoid unpredictable future complications, Allan remains as TONIKS and will be featuring side-kicks as and when required.
Lillian still remains a friend to the group and maintains her commitment to see to the good future of TONIKS, as well as helping with studio lay-ups as and when required.
With that explained, GOODENUFF once again presents you with TONIKS..new look, same GOODSWING. IN THE MEANTIME, THE as-yet-to-be-named debut TONIKS album is in the final preparation stages and should be available in the market Sept 2008.
